Intermittent Ribbon: Enhanced Stability and Mechanical Robustness Through Dual-Sided Bonding

8.07.2026

For applications requiring enhanced stability, the IGF offers an additional option: instead of applying bonds on only one side of the intermittent ribbon, bonds can also be applied on the opposite side, resulting in bonding on both the top and bottom surfaces. The bonding application on the bottom side can be performed simultaneously with the application on the top side or in a separate process step.

Maximum Flexibility in Optical Fiber Ribbon Production

4.03.2025

Our machines not only offer optimal flexibility due to their modular construction, e.g., through easy expansion options, but their flexibility goes far beyond that. Especially in optical fiber ribbon production, our machines enable an extraordinary variety of products. Thanks to the precise control of bonding parameters, a wide range of configurations can be realized.
